About Me

My name is La Shea Butts.  I graduated from Angelo State University.  This is my 29th year in Education.  My teaching experience includes 1st grade, 2nd grade, 5th grade, Elementary P. E, 6th grade Bearcat Success, and 7/8 Teen Leadership. 

 

I have celebrated 30 years of marriage and have one beautiful daughter.  She is starting her first year of teaching.  I love teaching and spending with my family.

 

I strive to create a developmentally appropriate classroom where students are active participants in a positive learning environment.  Students' success and self-esteem are a primary goal.  I believe all students can behave appropriately.    I expect all students to allow me to teach and others to learn.  I'm looking forward to another great year ant Ballinger Junior High!  Go Bearcats!
