BJHS Teacher Showcase - February

Coach Hennington

By Brady Clinton

Coaches are some times the most influential people in a kids life, and Coach Hennington is just that and more.  Coach Hennington is the junior high’s  6th grade social studies teacher, a football coach and head baseball coach.

When I asked him what got him into coaching, he said his love for sports. His love of sports was made stronger when he received his state ring in baseball, which he recalls to be the happiest day of his life. These moments along with his love for coaching give him what it takes to be a positive role model.

Coach’s influence is positive and is viewed that way by many.   Cade Strube said that Coach Hennington has inspired him to be a better athlete by being coachable and respectful.  Coach Vaughn agrees that Coach Hennington is a good  coach and teacher. Coach Vaughn also says he is a good person.     We are all happy that Coach Hennington is a part of our Bearcub team.  He is a positive role-model for all.
